Alexander Accountancy are delighted to announce that we are proud sponsors of the junior teams of Trentside Cricket Club. The club is located in Branston with several teams playing in the local leagues.
Managing Director of Alexander Accountancy, Wayne Penlington, added “Having been involved with the club for the last few years, where my 2 sons play, I have seen at first hand how welcoming all members are, as well as the enthusiasm from the coaches and staff. It was therefore an easy decision to sponsor the junior teams for 2 years. We wish all the teams the best for the next few years”.
About Trentside Cricket Club
Trentside Cricket Club was formerly known as Burton Working Men’s Cricket Club and was founded in 1948 before changing to its current name in 1981.
Trentside is an inclusive and vibrant Cricket Club based in Branston, Burton Upon Trent where they run two competitive adult sides in the Derbyshire County Cricket League in Divisions 3 South and 5 South together with a Sunday Social team who play local sides and a Sunday Development team who again play local sides in a League.
They have a thriving Junior Section consisting of Kwik Cricket (Boys and Girls), Under 11, 13, 15, and 17’s.
