Making More Profit & Paying Less Tax

Staffordshire Festival of Business - Alexander's Business Club Burton on Trent

Two things that businesses should consider on a regular basis.

Come to Alexanders Business Club on Tuesday 15th November 2016 and we will show you some of the ways this can be achieved. Please send us questions in advance so subjects of your choice can be included, plus we will take questions on the night.

Making More Profit can be affected by a wide range of factors.

Alexanders Business Club dealt with “Finding New Customers” at our September meeting. But what about “Generating Better Sales”? What happens when you increase prices? Can you offer additional goods and services? Are there opportunities to package goods and services together?

Then there are the cost aspects. How well does your business buy and is it buying from the best people? Should your buying strategy be driven by price, quality or reciprocity?Alexander's Business Club Autumn workshops Burton on Trent

Paying Less Tax has always been a key issue in business.

However we will deal with when is it good to pay more tax, although most tax advisors only recommend you should pay the minimum amount of tax that you legally have to. We will cover business status – sole trader, partnership, limited company etc. Remuneration planning, especially with regard to the recent changes in legislation. Employment versus freelance and the issues regarding employment status. VAT schemes, which you should chose and why. Plus any other subjects you ask us about in advance or that we can deal with on the night.

This workshop is also part of the Staffordshire Business Festival which takes place between Monday November 7th and Friday November 18th

Our meetings are practical hands on events that try to deliver real value on the night. The aim for this meeting will be to give everyone that attends a financial gain from Generating Better Sales, Making More Profit and Paying Less Tax. We will also provide a workbook so you can record and retain the information offered, and we will offer free diagnostic reviews if bespoke advice is required.

We will be meeting from 5.30pm in the St Andrews Room at Branston Golf Club, DE14 3DP. A hot and cold buffet will be served at 6.00pm with the presentation starting from 6.45pm. This is scheduled to finish around 8.00pm with time for questions after.
