The Burton and Derby business community came together for the latest Alexander Accountancy backed Networking for Charities event, enjoying an afternoon of building professional relationships whilst raising vital funds for community causes across the region.
Held at Pride Park Stadium, Derby on April 21, the event, led by Kings Office Supplies raised £200, which was divided between Derby County Community Trust and Derby and Burton Hospital Trust.
The event featured a presentation from Rachel Morris from SV2- Supporting Victims of Sexual Abuse and Richard Lloyd from CMC Business Advisors.
Businesses in attendance included Burton YMCA, Children First Derby, Derby & Burton Hospitals Charity, Derby County Community Trust, Hubtel IT, Practically Leading Consultancy, Pretty Decent and Strategy & Governance.
Director Richard Faulkner said: “We are a quarter of the way through our Networking for Charities event calendar and thrilled to have raised £800 for local good causes. It’s great to see our business community working together to build relationships and make a difference to charities across the region.”

The next Networking for Charities event will take place on Wednesday 24th June from 12:00-14:00 at Harrison’s Hub, Pride Park Stadium, Derby.
