Property professionals shared their industry knowledge, challenges and predictions for the future at the latest Property People Burton networking event.
Hosted by Alexander Accountancy chairman David Alexander and property landlords Jon and Sarah Crew, the event welcomed 20 guests from across the region to enjoy an evening of networking at Burton Rugby Football Club on June 4.
Guests heard from Anthony Murphy, founder of Veritas Facilities Management who provided a presentation to give attendees a better understanding of facilities management among those working in the property sector.
The event also saw Craig Adams, director of New Chapter Property Finance give the group a financial update, covering all aspects of the mortgage market.
Property People welcomes anyone with a genuine interest or connection to the property sector, including architects, property developers, mortgage advisors, property investors, and landlords, as well as those wishing to become more involved in any aspect of the industry.
Sharing his experience presenting at Property People via his LinkedIn account, Anthony Murphy said: “What stood out was that this wasn’t an event focussed on sharing business cards. It was about sharing knowledge, understanding what’s happening in the industry and discussing the challenges and headwinds we can expect in the months ahead.”
