Making Tax Digital – Hot Topic or Hot Potato?

Over the next few years, and possibly starting next year, we will see the biggest change to the tax system that we have seen since self assessment was introduced 20 years ago. But there has been little publicity aimed at educating and preparing those it will affect the most.

It will carry a greater administrative burden and increase the costs of compliance as businesses will be required to keep digital records and submit quarterly reports.

It is expected to affect nearly every small and medium sized business. There will be an exemption limit for the smallest businesses, but this could be as little as £10,000, which will not help many businesses.

At Alexander Accountancy we are planning ahead, we are consulting with specialist business software providers and we are confident that

ALEXANDER ACCOUNTANCY HAS THE SOLUTION YOU NEED

Many professionals are waiting to see what will happen but, as we have done with auto enrolment, Alexander Accountancy is taking a proactive approach to make sure that we can offer the bespoke solution our clients will need.
